Countdown to Lockdown; Hryggan Sculpt

Hey all,

I am going to lockdown the Backerkit orders starting tomorrow night. Over 85% of you have completed the process. The other 15% are going to receive one more notice from me before Backerkit closes. The whole process helps me with fulfillment a great deal but, in most cases, I can make order adjustments up until the very end of fulfillment.

Everything else is moving along according to plan. We have expanded the adventure somewhat thanks to a great idea of John's I expect you all will enjoy. I expect to make the first production order of figurines this week as I would rather have them get shipped (and invoiced) to me earlier as opposed to later.

I am going to leave you all with these images of the Hryggan prototype I received about 3 hours ago. The figurine is a very hefty one with clear lines and a face for radio.

BackerKit Reminder, Prototype Figurines

Greetings everyone,

Things are moving ahead and a short-ish update was in order to keep the supply chain rolling and the information flowing.

Backerkit Reminder

Two-thirds of you have completed backerkit. Which means one-third of you have not yet gone through the process. As a gentle nudge I just sent out a reminder email to those who missed it. You still have about a week until I lockdown orders so there is plenty of time. 

PLEASE NOTE- There was a minor hiccup with the settings during the first couple of days that affected a small percentage of you. If you are at the $70 pledge level this is for you. Should you not remember selecting one of the system choices (OSR, Pathfinder or 5e) I need you to log back into Backerkit and make that selection (or send me your selection to [email protected]). Sorry about that.

Backerkit Add-ons

Many of you have purchased additional add-ons and we give you much thanks. If orders continue to roll in in addition to previously pledged funds we may have a surprise addition to everyone's box set. Just in case a few of you are interested the most popular add-ons orders so far have been-

I still have a few of the Whisper & Venom Collector's sets remaining. I put the last of the boxes together last week. I always forget how stuffed full they are with all the extras- collector's sets have about 70 separate components not including stickers etc.

Death & Taxes will be the same way when it is shipped to all of you. In fact I requested a die-cut for the box to be a little bit bigger than Whisper & Venom's.

Pictures are both better than words for these. These seven prototypes arrived Thursday from Valiant Enterprises (our casting company) and look even better in the hand than they do in the pictures. I received two of each figurine and I have already sent one to Nic Genovese for his approval in fit and appearance.

Greetings,

The invites to Backerkit will be emailed to everyone throughout the day. If you have any questions about the process or any requests regarding rewards please do not hesitate to contact me via Kickstarter or using [email protected]. In the short process you will be able to:

1.Verify your address and rewards.

2.Select your add-ons.You can purchase new add-ons as well. Most of the figurines we sell (from this Kickstarter as well as our last one) are deeply discounted in the add-on section.

3.Upgrade to higher pledge level if you wish.

4.Check out and pay your balance (if any). You will not be charged until I lock down the pledge manager in a couple of weeks.

You will be able to come back later if you are the cool and attractive type that will be adding extras.

Thank you for supporting Lesser Gnome. We are dedicated to creating quality fantasy role-playing products. Both games and accessories designed to exceed the expectations of the most discriminating RPG fan. To deliver your rewards for Death & Taxes we will be using BackerKit. To do so we first must have you complete a small survey via Kickstarter.  

This survey is two questions long.  

The first question is an opt-in yes/no question. It asks if you would like to subscribe to our occasional email newsletter. This missive is full of the exact same things you have seen (news, discounts, gossip etc) in every other game company newsletter. We differentiate our newsletter from other companies by giving you less. Our newsletters are shorter and we send them less often.  

The second question is free-form. It gives you an opportunity to tell us anything (or nothing). Your response can be clever, nsfw, insulting, amusing or all of those combined. The only thing it can't be is blank.  

We like this type of thing and the best answers (i.e. the funniest) will be considered. We will select a few for some kind of award for extreme cleverness. With convention season coming up I will up to my eyeballs in swag of every description. Good swag makes good rewards.  

You can complete the survey minus the flippancy by typing 'N/A'.  

At the end of survey everyone who qualifies will find their code for their PDF copy of our adventure short- Bird of a Feather. This was one of the stretch goals during the Kickstarter. A second coupon is also listed entitling you a 30% discount in the web store during the same checkout for any merchandise currently in stock (box sets excluded) . These will ship immediately as opposed to selections made during the BackerKit period.
